Cotton Waste / Wiping Material

Cotton waste, often referred to as “T-Shirting,” consists of soft, 100% cotton rags commonly used for cleanup, waxing, polishing, and finishing work. These white cotton materials are highly absorbent and lint-free, making them suitable for a wide range of studio and workshop applications. Cotton waste is typically supplied in 10- and 25-pound packages for general shop use.
Sepp Leaf Products also offers high-quality cotton thread made from pure cotton strands, which is commonly used as wadding inside a French polishing rubber. It can also be used to wipe, blend, or move applied paints and patinas on gilded surfaces, making it a versatile material for decorative finishing and restoration work
